Talk on “The Alberta Tar Sands, Oil Train Safety, and the Fight to Stop Enbridge Line 3 Pipeline”

Kathy Hollander, a citizen activist who for five years was a full-time volunteer organizer, lobbyist, and leader with MN350 in the effort to prompt action on climate change, tells the truth about the Alberta Tar Sands, oil train safety, and the ongoing fight to stop or re-route the Enbridge Line 3 pipeline.

Kathy Hollander spent a career in computer operating systems as an analyst and a manager with a major super-comuting company.  She has a BA in Math and German. She has worked with MoveOn.org, Occupy Minneapolis, and League of Women Voters, in addition to being active with the Peace and Justice committee of her church. In her free time, she loves playing cards, and the smell and sounds of Minnesota’s north woods.
