Join us this Saturday as we celebrate the Sustainable Ely Education and Action Center.  We have a number of exciting things planned, and you can make them better by being there with us.

The event kicks off at 2:00 PM with a symbolic and inspirational paddle on the Kawishiwi River starting at Voyageur Outward Bound off the Spruce Rd at Highway 2. Bring a canoe or kayak and join the festivities. Then head back to Sustainable Ely for the opening with some brief comments and refreshments at 5PM.

Let’s make it a fun day with a purpose and kick off an exciting summer of education and action to protect the Kawishiwi River and the Boundary waters from sulfide ore mining.
