All MEP Members are invited to this informational meeting to learn more about Frac Sand Mining in Minnesota, share what you and your organization are doing on this issue and find out how to get involved if you’re not already. Bobby King of Land Stewardship Project will speak on local controls and community issues and John Lenczewski of Trout Unlimited will address the potential for a Generic EIS and moratorium. And, we’ll get a sneak preview trailer of the new documentary in the making, “The Price of Sand.” There will be plenty of time reserved for questions and open discussion.
