Westminster Town Hall Forum: Building a Movement to Stop Climate Change

March 17, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Westminster’s Eco-Justice Team invites you to attend a special Town Hall Forum with Bill McKibben in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day . McKibben is an environmental activist, educator, author, and one of the leading voices on climate change. He is the founder of 350.org, the world’s largest grassroots campaign to counter the effects of climate change. The Eco-Justice Ministry will host two tables in Westminster Commons where you can learn more about what you can do to make a difference, both as an individual, and in collaboration with larger advocacy efforts. Check out the Eco-Justice book cart created by Barbara Mauk, our church librarian, highlighting books the Eco-Justice team has purchased for the church library, including those by McKibben.
