Save the Ales: Letter-Writing Happy Hour

March 19, 2014 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

Save the Ales

Climate change is putting our beer at risk — good beer depends on clean water and healthy barley and hops, all of which will be harmed by greenhouse gas pollution from burning fossil fuels.

Join Sierra Club for a “Save the Ales” letter writing happy hour. Stop by anytime at either the St. Paul, Minneapolis, or Stillwater location to write a letter to move Minnesota beyond coal to clean energy.

The main focus of the evening will be requesting that Xcel Energy close down two of its coal burning units in the Sherco Coal Plant, and activate plans to offer more renewable energy options for Minnesotans. Xcel will be outlining a plan for their energy future this summer, and they need to hear that their customers want to see clean energy instead of coal.

Friends and family welcome! Hope to see you there – let’s brew a clean energy future!
