Join the Mississippi River Gorge Stewards to continue restoration efforts at Riverside Park! This community park in Minneapolis’s Cedar-Riverside and Seward neighborhoods is one of the oldest in the city.
Working alongside Friends of the Mississippi staff, volunteers will help improve local wildlife habitat and watershed health by removing invasive species and assisting with watering and other restoration/tending tasks. The range of activities will be suitable for both adults and youth, and everyone is encouraged to work at their own pace and ability level.
What better way to spend a spring morning? We hope you can join us!
