Volunteers are needed to join Friends of the Mississippi River (FMR) at Hastings area parks on Saturday, June 25 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. to install pollinator patches at two locations in Hastings, Vermillion Falls Park and CP Adams.
Both of these sites will greatly benefit from the addition of these pollinator patches that will provide a much-needed resource for a variety of pollinators such as birds, bees, butterflies, and other pollinators as well as create a beautiful landscape of diverse plants.
Volunteers will work in two small groups with FMR staff and HEP members. To ensure a high quality experience, capacity is limited and preregistration required.
