Friends of the Mississippi River is hosting a cleanup at two sites in the Mississippi River Gorge for Earth Day this year. These cleanups have become an Earth Day tradition in the Gorge, bringing people from local river corridor neighborhoods and throughout the metro area together to contribute to the health of the Mississippi River watershed.

Our two cleanup sites are located at:

-East 36th St & W. River Pkwy
-East 44th St & W. River Pkwy

Pizza will be provided for volunteers at the end of the cleanup by Longfellow’s own Parkway Pizza!

Preregistration is not required for this event. However, if you will be with a group of 15 or more, please notify FMR Event Registrar Lindsay Hefferan in order help make the registration process easier for your group.
