The Bemidji Sustainability Committee is excited to announce the city’s 2nd Annual Sustainable Homes Tour on Saturday, July 27th. The tour will feature five destinations—four homes that have incorporated sustainable design and green building techniques, plus a stop at Northwest Technical College’s Sustainable Environment Technologies Center. Come see how local residents reduced their energy costs, increased their energy independence, reduced their water usage, increased their food independence, used natural and renewable materials in constructing their homes, and reduced solid waste.

Tours are offered throughout the day from 9am to 5pm.

11am & 1pm – Solar Array (18438 Nelson Dam Rd NW, Leonard)
