About Renewing the Countryside:

Renewing the Countryside is a 501c3 nonprofit that strengthens rural areas by championing and supporting rural communities, farmers, artists, entrepreneurs, educators, activists and other people who are renewing the countryside through sustainable and innovative initiatives, businesses, and projects.

We do this by sharing stories of rural renewal, building awareness and support for sustainable endeavors, connecting people interested in sustainable rural development to each other, providing practical assistance and networking opportunities for those working to improve rural America, and fostering connections between urban and rural people.

About the Healthy Local Food Exhibit:

Each year we coordinate a food-based, interactive educational exhibit at the Eco Experience—the award-winning sustainability expo, which draws over 20,000 visitors daily during the fair. Over 12 days we host a lively and engaging exhibition about the importance of regenerative agriculture and a vibrant local food economy. Our team leads a collaboration that includes partner organizations, local chefs, food makers, and our loyal crew of volunteers.

About the FEAST Local Food Marketplace Festival and Tradeshow:
The FEAST! Local Foods Marketplace festival and tradeshow was created to see local food growers and producers in Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin flourish. Participating food vendors are vetted for strong value propositions which must include sourcing locally grown ingredients when possible. During the public festival, local food, beer and wine vendors offer samples, tell their story, and sell their artisan products to the public. At the industry-only tradeshow, food businesses have the opportunity to connect with fellow entrepreneurs, technical assistance providers, and wholesale buyers. Our next festival will be Saturday, November 5, 2022 in Rochester, MN and the next Tradeshow will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023 in Cannon Falls, MN.

Interested applicants should submit a cover letter,  resume, and three references to info@rtcinfo.org. This position is open until filled.
