Environmental Initiative

Location: Minneapolis

The Director, Midwest Row Crop Collaborative provides leadership and management for all aspects of the Collaborative’s ongoing and emerging work. The Midwest Row Crop Collaborative (the Collaborative or MRCC) is a diverse coalition working to create a U.S. agricultural system that is part of a healthy environmental ecosystem and is economically viable for all in the value chain. This group is working toward improved environmental outcomes through cross-sector collaboration and continuous improvement at a meaningful scale throughout the Upper Mississippi River Basin. The Director, Midwest Row Crop Collaborative works closely with MRCC members to develop long-range strategic direction and advance incremental actions to move the Collaborative toward its goals. The Director provides leadership in driving Collaborative activities by inspiring and coordinating members in identifying and implementing Systems Change Projects. They serve as a primary point of contact for and coordinate between MRCC members, Environmental Initiative staff, systems change project partners, affiliated funders, stakeholder groups and contractors. The Director leads a team of highly capable and motivated external and internal partners and deploys human and capital resources to most effectively support the Collaborative’s ambitious goals and objectives.
