SUMMARY:Rally Against Hyperscale Data Centers
DESCRIPTION:Join us in the Capitol Rotunda at 10am on Feb. 18th for a state-wide mobilization to oppose the billionaire-backed rush of hyperscale data centers across Minnesota. \n\n\n\nThere are currently 17 hyperscale data centers being proposed in our state and we have no regulatory framework in place to protect our communities from the detrimental environmental impacts of these facilities. \n\n\n\nWe are showing up on the second day of Minnesota’s legislative session to demand our elected officials: \n\n\n\nPass a Data Center Moratorium to allow our agencies & lawmakers the time to create a regulatory framework.Require a full Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) be conducted for new hyper-scale data centers.Ban non-disclosure agreements that prevent the public from understanding the full scope of these proposalsEstablish mandatory setbacks for residential communities\, and protect them from noise/air/light pollution.Protect our Water!Prevent big tech from derailing our progress on climate! \n\n\n\nWHAT TO EXPECT \n\n\n\nWe will gather in the Capitol Rotunda at 10am for a rally featuring speakers from impacted communities across Minnesota\, legislative champions and policy advocates. \n\n\n\nLunch option can be found on registration form:https://bit.ly/NoDataCenterMNForm \n\n\n\nFrom 1-3pm we will encourage legislative visits with your elected members of the house & senate to relay our concerns and demand solutions. \n\n\n\nHelp us stand up to Big Tech!

SUMMARY:Boundary Waters Day at the Capitol
DESCRIPTION:Boundary Waters Day at the CapitolFebruary 25\, 2026 \n\n\n\nJoin us to rally for clean water at the Minnesota State Capitol and engage your legislators\, along with others who care about the health of Minnesota’s greatest resource! Stand up for the Boundary Waters and make sure our elected leaders understand the grave importance of clean water. \n\n\n\nTrump has made it clear that he plans to roll back BWCA protections and open the Superior National Forest up for copper-sulfide mining\, and his allies in Congress have pushed though a bill that would open the area around the Boundary Waters to copper-sulfide mining. Whatever your party affiliation\, the danger to the Boundary Waters is very real\, and we hope you’ll take action! \n\n\n\nWe’ll help you set up meetings\, and provide a training to talk to your elected officials. Just bring your own water bottle to use refill stations!RSVP to get signed up and connected to your legislators! \n\n\n\nLEARN MORE! \n\n\n\nRSVP! \n\n\n\nCAN’T ATTEND? DONATE!

SUMMARY:Neonic Lobby Day
DESCRIPTION:Neonics are neurotoxic insecticides used on more than 12 million acres across Minnesota: on farms\, in our yards and gardens\, and in public spaces. They are a leading cause in the decline of pollinators and other insect species\, in turn affecting our food systems and the fish\, birds and wildlife that rely on insects for food. They also pose direct health risks to humans. But the vast majority of neonic use in Minnesota is unnecessary! \n\n\n\nMake your voice heard! Sign up here to join us on March 9\, 2026\, for a day at the capitol building\, calling on Minnesota legislators to take action to rein in unnecessary neonic contamination! Please fill out the form by February 27th.  \n\n\n\nRough Schedule (may be subject to change):  \n\n\n\n\n8:30-9am: Check in at Christ Lutheran on Capitol Hill (105 University Ave. W\, St. Paul) between 8:30 and 9am\n\n\n\n9-10am: Event with speakers at the Church\n\n\n\n10-10:30am: March to the Capitol Building\n\n\n\n10:30am-5pm: meetings with offices (You will have one to three 15-minute meetings in this window. You will have time and space to rest\, get lunch\, and possibly attend other events at the capitol). \n\n\n\n\nNotes:  \n\n\n\nWe will provide schedules\, handouts\, and additional guidance on the morning of the event.  \n\n\n\nWe will schedule meetings with your legislators in advance\, but these can be subject to last-minute changes because of legislators’ busy schedules. It is best to block off the full day from 8am-5pm if possible. If you have an unavoidable conflict\, please explain in the notes below and we will do our best to accommodate you.  \n\n\n\nYou can identify your state representatives with this easy-to-use tool. https://www.gis.lcc.mn.gov/iMaps/districts/.
