Calling on Minnesota’s young people! Join Climate Generation, MPIRG and youth from across the state for a Day of Action and Youth Lobby Day at the Minnesota State Capitol on Monday, March 14th. From 9-10 AM, youth are invited to participate in a summit meeting with Governor Dayton, and from 10-3 PM we will lobby our legislators. Planned and facilitated by student organizers, the day will be an opportunity to learn more about the Clean Power Plan, and what young people can do to ensure Minnesota’s State Implementation Plan is as strong and just as possible. Learn about the issues, talk with policy makers face to face, and be part of the generational groundswell demanding that Minnesota be a national leader on climate change solutions!
