Will Allen’s Good Food Revolution is Coming BACK to Minnesota!
North Branch, Minnesota, Saturday, September 15 and Sunday, September 16, 2012 (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days)
The Amador Hill Farm Campus at the Women’s Environmental Institute, 15715 River Road, North Branch, Chisago County, Minnesota, 55056.
As part of the Women’s Environmental Institute’s environmental, agricultural and food justice mission, we have joined forces with Growing Power as its Regional Outreach Training Center for Minnesota and the surrounding region. WEI is working with Growing Power to bring urban and rural farming together, especially to save the small family farm and help build sustainable local food and farming communities regionally and nationally. WEI staff and volunteers will also be available on site to work with participant’s special interests and project design. Along with hard-working fun and concentrated learning, the weekend will include good food and community building spirit.
