Join Friends of the Mississippi River (FMR) at Minneapolis’s Riverside Park to help improve local wildlife habitat and watershed health by removing invasive species and assisting with other tending tasks, such as watering. The range of activities will be suitable for both adults and youth, and everyone is encouraged to work at their own pace and ability level. FMR has been helping restore this park since 2010, and as a volunteer, you can be sure that your work is part of a larger, long-term restoration plan and will continue to be built upon!
