The wolf population at Isle Royale National Park has been dwindling the last few years, and the National Park Service plans to make a decision this fall in response to the possible extirpation of the wolves on the island. In anticipation of that, NPCA and Northland/SOEI are holding a public forum to discuss the causes behind why the population is dwindling, including climate change and disease, and what the potential responses are, including intervention and non-intervention. RSVPs requested. For more information, please visit: http://www.npca.org/get-involved/events/isle-royale-wolf-management.html
