We are having a celebration of sustainability in Bemidji, though would love for folks across the region to be welcomed to it!  This event will focus on the Minnesota GreenStep Cities designation, as well as express appreciation to attendees for playing a vital play a role in the movement to becoming a more resilient community.

Mayor Rita Albrecht and the owner of Brigid’s Pub, who had a solar site assessment done this fall on her business, will speak. We’ll also briefly share some of the other amazing community projects going on to promote sustainability. Brigid’s serves outstanding local menu options which will be available for purchase as well as local brews. A favorite local band, The Seasonals, will be playing from about 8 to 10 p.m.
