This session will provide nonprofits with specific practical information on how to access competitive public and private funding for habitat restoration and environmental clean-up work in Northeastern Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin.
Representatives from the State of Minnesota Outdoor Heritage Fund (created by the Legacy Amendment), the federally funded Great Lakes Restoration Initiative, and the DNR’s Conservation Partners Legacy program will explain their funding programs and take questions
Informational presentations will be complemented by a working session in which participants will have the opportunity to present project ideas for immediate feedback and discussion. Working together, presenters and participants will explore potential opportunities to advance project ideas through matching and collaboration.
