Xcel Energy’s latest 15-year plan for us proposes a massive fracked gas plant in central Minnesota. Clearly, building more fossil fuel infrastructure during a climate crisis is a risk too big to take. Luckily, we don’t have to take that risk. A number of organizations have released alternative plans with more clean energy, more equity, and no gas plant.
