State leaders want to hear from you about the future of Minnesota’s environment!
The Environmental Quality Board, one of Minnesota’s most influential environmental governing organizations, is hosting a Citizen Forum in Bloomington on Tuesday Nov. 27—this is rare opportunity for citizens to have their voices heard by commissioners from nine state agencies involved in Minnesota’s environment.
The forum is from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. at Normandale Community College.
As you know, this is a critical time for Minnesota’s environment, the health of our communities, and our energy future.
We know that other voices have been pushing our leaders for weaker environmental standards, fewer opportunities for public involvement, and greater access to log, mine and lease our Great Outdoors.
The Citizen Forum is your chance to make sure leaders hear your and other citizens’ concerns about clean air, water, and open spaces and put our state on course for a cleaner, healthier future. Please attend on November 27 and spread the word to your friends and family.
